Terms
Last updated 2026-05-07.
These terms govern your purchase and use of Cue. By installing or using Cue, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not install or use Cue.
Who you are buying from
The seller is KARMA DIGITAL S.A.S. ("Karma Digital"), a company organized under the laws of Uruguay. The merchant of record for the transaction is Paddle.com Market Limited; Paddle's terms also apply to the payment.
What Cue is
Cue is a desktop application for macOS. It draws transparent overlays on top of your screen and exposes a set of MCP tools that an MCP-compatible agent (such as Claude Code) can use to take screenshots of your displays, measure UI elements, and draw guidance. Cue does not control your mouse or keyboard.
License
Your purchase grants you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Cue on Mac computers that you personally own or control. The license includes every 2.x update. A future major version (3.0 and beyond) may require a separate purchase, with an upgrade path for existing customers at our discretion.
You may not redistribute Cue, sell it, sublicense it, or remove or obscure the copyright and license notices in the bundle. Reverse engineering is permitted only to the extent required by applicable law that you cannot waive by contract.
You are responsible for what you point Cue at
Cue is a tool that lets an LLM agent see whatever is on your screen and draw on top of it. You are responsible for what you put on your screen while Cue is active and for the agent you choose to connect. Do not use Cue to view, capture, or interact with content you are not authorized to see.
Your LLM provider
Cue is an MCP server. The LLM agent that drives it (Claude Code or another) is a separate program with its own terms, account, and billing. Karma Digital does not provide that agent and does not stand behind its behavior. Pick an agent and a model you trust.
Updates and discontinuation
Cue checks for updates via Sparkle. We may release updates that change, add, or remove features. We may discontinue any product. If we discontinue Cue, your already-installed copy will continue to work; we do not guarantee that license validation will keep responding indefinitely.
Disclaimer and liability
Cue is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Karma Digital is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with Cue or these terms. Karma Digital's total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these terms is limited to the amount you actually paid for Cue.
Refunds
See the refund policy. The short version: 30 days, no questions asked, processed by Paddle.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Uruguay, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by good-faith discussion will be brought before the competent courts of Montevideo, Uruguay. Nothing in this clause affects mandatory consumer-protection rights granted to you under the law of your country of residence.
Changes
If these terms change, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will move. Continued use of Cue after a change means you accept the updated terms.
